BBNaija 2021 finale: Whitemoney wins the 'Shine Ya Eye' season

After ten weeks of an undeniably entertaining show with contestants Whitemoney, Liquorose, Angel, Cross, and Pere, the highly anticipated season finale has finally arrived.
With a pack-punching performance from the fan park in Lekki, Made Kuti started off the finale event. Surprisingly, the center was packed with people, which was a first since the outbreak. Following Kuti's electrifying performance, Big Brother delivered an emotional message to the finalists before getting down to work.

Emmanuel, the season's veto power holder and a member of the Emmarose ship, was the first finalist to be ousted.
Angel's eviction was fast behind. The 21-year-old, who won fans over with her free-spirited personality, was the show's second finalist to leave.
Following a thrilling performance by ex-BBN housemate Avala, Ebuka announced the eviction of another fan favorite housemate Cross, leaving Whitemoney, Liquorose, and Pere as the season's top three.
Pere, the General and the King of the Patriots, finished second in the season's second runner-up race. The 36-year-journey old's on the program was fascinating, starting as a wild card and ending in the finals, where he was nearly defeated by Angel.

And now, the moment that fans had been waiting for all night. With the best candidates finally going head to head, the season finale was a far cry from the previous season, when the winner, Laycon, was known weeks in advance.

In terms of the previous season, Laycon's performance came before Lojay, Ajebo Hustlers, and the night's greatest revelation, which confirmed Whitemoney as the 'Shine Ya Eye' season winner.

Whitemoney won the season by a landslide, with 47 percent of the vote from viewers. With 22.99 percent of the vote, Liquorose came in second.
