Breaking News: Fani-Kayode finally dumps PDP, joins ruling APC

Femi Fani-Kayode, Aviation Minister and leader of the Democratic People's Party, deported into the APC. 
On Thursday, 16 September, President Buhari officially welcomed Fani-Kayode to the APC in Aso-Rock Fani-Kayode, one of the harshest opponent of his administration, was glad to welcome the President.

Abuja, Aso-Rock. Following months of suspicions and denial, the former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode joined the Ruling All Progressive Congress under the administration of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo (APC).
The chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee, Mai-Mala Buni, and governor of the State of Yobe, Vanguard reported that on Thursday, 16 September, the President Muhammadu Buhari was presented to the President in Abuja in the Presidential Villa.
It was found that Fani Kayode said he was prompted by the Holy Spirit in his decision and joined the APC in order to contribute to the country's unity, adding that he was opposed to anything which would disintegrate Nigeria.
He informed him that he had a decisive role in the exit of the three APC governors, the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
